The Virtual Learning Journey is a valuable resource to support your efforts
How does it work?
- Producer organizations register to confirm their interest for an upcoming 10 week online series
- Industry allies sponsor producer organizations to participate in an upcoming Virtual Learning Journey (Producer Organizations with access to project/donor funding or social premiums can invest directly)
- Producer organizations participate in the 10 week program, which includes access to PGE’s Gender Equity Index tool, support to develop a targeted gender development plan and a profile on PGE’s Buyer-Supplier Alliance.
A core goal of our work is to connect buyers and sellers who support gender equity, and to encourage coffee buyers to offer favorable contracts to participating producer organizations. Specifically, PGE advocates for buyers to reward the performance of their suppliers and invest in gender equity programming to support further progress in those organizations.
Ultimately, we strive to ensure that gender equity becomes core to sustainability and responsible sourcing programs – favorably impacting the lives of millions of families.
